Hamburger Spaghetti, Oysters, and a Wedding

I was at Tokyo and Chiba last week to attend the Japan Turf Show and for the wedding party of my friends. Tokyo in November is a splendid place, and I experienced four days of sunshine and ideal autumn weather. And that is not all . . .

for I also chose a hamburger steak spaghetti for my lunch one day. This extraordinary dish was served at a hamburger steak restaurant near the Fukuda Denshi Arena, site of the 2009 Japan Turf Show . . .

and at Tokyo Station’s GranSta I tried the the sublime かき おにぎり (oyster rice ball) seen below. I have had some incredible onigiri but this one may have been the best ever.
