Hawaii – Underrated

I was at Hawaii last week to speak at the USGA Green Section regional seminar, to play golf, and to meet friends and family. Each time I visit Hawaii I am reminded of what a great place it is, and this was an especially good visit. I played golf at Lanai on the Koele and Manele courses, spent a lot of time with my cousins, and climbed up Diamond Head twice. If you should ever be traveling from Bangkok to Augusta and want a good place for a stopover, I highly recommend the Hawaiian Islands.
